Die Saison 2016 ist zu Ende, Vast liegt sicher vertäut in Santa Maria Navarrese/Sardinien und wir sind gerade auf Landurlaub in Hamburg. Wieder sind wir dieses Jahr mit unseren Posts nicht hinterher gekommen – aber das macht nichts, es geht ja vor allem und die Dokumentation für euch.
Jetzt, so kurz vor Weihnachten, haben wir nochmal ein bisschen Gas gegeben und teilen hier das Ergebnis mit euch. Denn in unserem zweiten Jahr an Bord haben wir im Sommer entschieden, unsere Wohnung in der Schomburgstraße in Hamburg aufzugeben.
Nach 9 Jahren gibt’s nur gute Erinnerungen: Wir hatten eine super schöne Wohnung, großartige Nachbarn und über viele Jahre Sonntags-Tatorte, Montagstreffen mit Kollegen und Freunden, liebe Gäste zu 30sten und 40sten Geburtstagen und laaaange Frühstücke mit Kindern und ganz unterschiedlichen anderen Leuten zu noch vielfältigeren Anlässen.
Nu’ is Schluss damit.
In einer gut vorbereiteten, konzertierten Aktion wurde die Schomburg geräumt, gestrichen und geputzt. Lieblingssachen und die Kunst wurden eingelagert, anderes verkauft, verschenkt und gespendet. Übergabe war eben gerade, am 30. November, jetzt ist die Schomburg für uns Geschichte.
Wir ziehen damit ganz auf’s Boot, den Winter verbringen wir – bis auf Weihnachtstage und Silvester – an Bord auf Sardinien.
Ein spannender Schritt ist das, aber vor allem freuen wir uns auf die Zeit, die vor uns liegt.
Bis zum Frühjahr versuchen wir übrigens, noch den Weg von Andalusien bis Sardinien für euch aufzubereiten – bleibt dran!

Sorry we were not able to keep up with our blog – again! We hope it’s okay, since it is mainly a kind of documentation for you 🙂
So, now, just before Christmas, we have pushed things a little and like to share the results with you.
After two years on board, we decided to leave our apartment at the Schomburgstrasse in Hamburg. It’s been 9 exciting years, leaving us with good memories: our super nice apartment with wonderful neighbors, meeting on many Sundays to enjoy the series „Tatort“ together with friends, met colleagues and friends on Mondays (Mondays!), celebrated our 30th and 40th birthday there and had so many loooong breakfasts with our kids and a long row of different guests. We really loved living there.
No it’s over.
In a well-prepared, concerted action the ‚Schomburg‘ was cleared, painted and cleaned. Favorite things and art were stored, others sold, given away and donated. At end of November the cellar is empty and cleaned and as a last step the blinds dismantled by the painters. Meeting the landlord is on November 30th, 9 o’clock sharp. After that the ‚Schomburg‘ is history. An exciting step, but we are looking forward to the times ahead of us.
We’ll spend the next winter on the boat in Sardinia –except for Christmas and New Year’s Eve, families are waiting again!
